Specialty Eye Care
Modern automated exams make it easier for you to get your best vision prescription. Testing for glaucoma and other sight threatening diseases, like diabetes, are always part of your care. At our new Methodist location in Addison, Texas, you will be able to go beyond the basic exam with Kurtin Vision's i-Wellness Exam Plustm. This uses the very latest in computerized technology scanning your eye's health. Truly a great way to help prevent serious loss of eyesight.
Dr. Kurtin also provides medical eye care for infections, 'red eyes', allergies and dry eyes. Surgical consultation is offered if you want an opinion on Lasik, Corneal or Cataract surgery.
Contact Lens Prescriptions
Kurtin Vision is authorized to fit Moist Dailies, Air Optix, Biofinity Astigmatism, Acuvue Bifocal, Colorsoft, PolyVue HD, and Duette contact lenses among others. Free samples can be fitted after your exam.
Dr. Kurtin is also certified to fit an array of custom lenses for Keratoconus including KeraSoft, Rose K, UltraHealth, and all types of Scleral lenses like the ZenLens. In 2002, Dr. Kurtin was awarded Platinum status to fit Synergeyes contact lenses for people with corneal irregularities.
Find out if you or your child can wear the FDA approved Corneal Reshaping Therapy CRT lenses. These contact lenses correct vision while sleeping! Wake-up, remove and see all day. Research has found this may also help keep children's eyesight from getting worse.
Eyeglass Lens Prescriptions
Eye exercises or Vision Therapy can be prescribed to make tracking and focusing easier for better reading and comprehension. Kurtin Vision also provides Zeiss, Varilux, Chromagen, Transitions and Crizal non-glare lenses to help night vision and reduce headaches. Special prescriptions are given if you work with computers or digital devices all day causing eyestrain.
Whether you want another opinion on your vision, or just need an eye exam, we'd love to see you!
